involve_a_slightly_increased_risk_of_infection_in_the_ear_
canal ._An_infection_can_arise_as_a_result_of_inadequate_
ventilation_of_the_ear ._We_therefore_recommend_that_
you_remove_the_hearing_aid_from_your_ear_at_night_to_
allow_the_ear_canal_to_be_ventilated ._Make_sure_that_
you_clean_and_inspect_your_hearing_aid_as_required ._If_

tion_ and_ contact_ your_ hearing_ care_ professional_ for_

diation_treatments_and_never_place_your_hearing_aid_
in_a_microwave_oven ._These_are_some_of_the_types_of_
radiation_ that_ can_ damage_ your_ hearing_ aid ._ Radia-
tion_ from,_ for_ example,_ room_ surveillance_ equip-
ment,_ burglar_ alarms_ and_ mobile_ phones_ is_ weaker_
and_will_not_damage_your_hearing_aid_However,_inter-
ference_noise_may_result_from_these_or_other_types_of_
sensors .
•_ _Widex_hearing_aids_are_not_certified_for_use_in_mines_
or_other_areas_with_explosive_gases .

should_ not_ be_ disposed_ of_ with_ normal_
