BUTTONS ON THE CONTROL PANEL AND
INDICATOR LIGHT:
– 'START/STOP' button (when this is
switched on, 'AUTO' is locked).
'AUTO' – program button (when 'AUTO' is on,
the 'START/STOP' button is locked).
'PROG' – Button for setting pre­programmed
time.
'AROMA' – Aroma control button.
'H' – Button for timer adjustment.
'MIN' – Button for adjusting the minutes.
The LED light is continually red; brewing is
under
way or the machine is keeping the coffee hot.
The LED light flashes green: program, timer
setting.
The LED light is continually green; the
program is set.
LCD DISPLAY:

Shows the time or program time
(24hour display).
'AUTO':
Shows that the program has been
set.
'BREW': Shows that the coffee is brewing.
'AROMA': Shows that the aroma control is on.
BEFORE USE:
1. Remove all packaging material.
2. Clean any removable accessories, the
scoop, filter basket and glass jug with

a mild detergent and rinse with water.
Dry thoroughly.
3. Run the coffee maker with clean water
without any coffee powder. Repeat this
three times, using fresh water each time,
in order to clean the coffee maker.
USE:
1. Plug the appliance into an earthed socket.
It will emit a long beep. Never touch the
appliance or cord with wet or damp hands.
2. Open the lid for the water container.
3. Fill the water container with clean water
up to the level that matches the amount of
coffee you want to brew. Every line corre­
sponds to two cups.
4. Place a paper filter into the filter holder.
5. Use the scoop to add the coffee. The
amount will vary depending on your prefe­
rence and taste.
6. Close the lid of the water container.
7. Put the glass jug on the heating plate.

8. Press the 'START/STOP' button. The indi­
cator light goes red and 'BREW' appears
on the LCD screen. If you want to use the
aroma function, press the 'AROMA' button
on the control panel.
9. When the coffee has finished brewing, the
appliance will keep the coffee hot. It emits
three short beeps.
10. When the coffee has finished brewing,
the heating plate automatically keeps the
coffee hot for 40 minutes. It then switches
off. If the coffee does not need to be kept
hot, press the 'START/STOP' button. The
function that keeps the coffee hot will
switch off.
SETTING A TIME:
1.
Plug the appliance into an earthed

touch the appliance or cord with wet or

Use the buttons on the bottom of the con­
trol panel to set the timer. The time will
appear when the setting is complete.

panel. The indicator light flashes.

STOP PROGRAMMED BREWING:

When you have set a programmed time,
'AUTO' appears on the control panel.
2.
Press 'AUTO'. 'AUTO' no longer appears
on the control panel. The program has
been stopped.
CLEANING:
1.
Always unplug the appliance. Never
touch the appliance or cord with wet
or damp hands.
2.
Always let the appliance cool down
before cleaning it.
3.
Clean the outside of the appliance with
a damp cloth. Never immerse the
appliance into any liquid.
4.
Clean any removable accessories, the
scoop, filter basket and glass jug with
a mild detergent and rinse with water.
Dry thoroughly.
The surfaces of the appliance get very hot
when in use.
