8. MAINTENANCE Before each use, conduct a safety inspection of the scooter, including: 1. Brake Lever: Test the brakes by trying to roll your scooter forward and back while squeezing the brake lever. The back wheel should not rotate. 2. Throttle: Test the throttle by applying pressure downward and then release the pressure. Check that it springs back to its original position. - Page 13 WARNING!
