Adjusting Rear-Facing Recline Stand

Rear-facing Recline

Lift the child restraint and
flip the recline stand, located
under the child restraint seat,
to either a rear-facing or
forward-facing position
(see pages 45-46).
Upright
Recline
The child restraint
MUST
be in Position 1 or 2 for
rear-facing use. Child
weigh 2.3 to 18 kg
(5 to 40 lbs).
If the level arrow is not
parallel to the ground, use a
tightly rolled towel or small
blanket beneath the front
edge of the recline stand.

MUST
FOR CANADIAN CONSUMERS ONLY:
When the recline stand
is in recline position 2b,
wrap Velcro® strap around
the recline stand and
insert the end of the strap
through the D-ring, as
shown.
Rear-Facing Recline Positions 1 and 2:
Position 1:
For U.S. Consumers Only
Move Recline Stand and Recline
Stand Leg down for full recline.
Secure child restraint onto vehicle
seat (See pages 24-32).
Position 2a:
For U.S. Consumers Only
Move Recline Stand down without
the Recline Stand Leg for partial
recline.
Secure child restraint onto vehicle
seat (See pages 24-32).
Position 2b:
For Canadian Consumers
Only
Move Recline Stand down.
Secure child restraint onto vehicle
seat (See pages 24-32).
Note: Canadian seats do not have
Recline Stand Leg.
Pull until just taut and
adhere Velcro to itself, as
shown. (Overtightening
could cause the strap to
detach from the product).
