Catch Shackle BN 1. General ® The Green Pin Catch Shackle BN prevents the accidental dropping of the shackle components; shackle body, spring pin, nut, and bolt. Each component of this innovative shackle has an attachment point to connect it to a lanyard. - Page 3 Example: Position nut The nut must be installed as shown in the picture below. If the nut is accidentally mounted the other way round, with the plate close to the shackle body, this does not provoke a safety hazard, but the plate might rotate less easily. See the below picture.
