    Introducing Atem X The IQAir Atem X is a room air purifier for people who are serious about the air they breathe and the esthetics of their environments. Operation is via a control panel on the purifier or with the IQAir App. The purifier is equipped with built-in air quality sensors.

    Arrange the supply cord where it will not be tripped over, away from traffic areas. Excess cord can be stowed in the cord channel. Wall mounting The purifier can be mounted onto walls with the optional Atem X wall- mounting kit. Refer to the mounting instructions supplied with the wall- mounting kit.

    Control Atem X from your smart phone with the IQAir App or the purifier’s touch sensitive control panel. The IQAir App is much more than a remote control - It gives you access to additional features for your Atem X and, more importantly, the App opens a world of air quality information within IQAir’s AirVisual community.

    Wi-Fi is active, but not connected White: The purifier is connected to the IQAir IoT Cloud and can be controlled remotely When in standby, the purifier can be turned ON from the App. Touch and hold for 10 seconds to turn the purifier OFF.

    App. Smart Mode is also deactivated by touching anywhere on the air cleaning performance control. In Smart Mode, the Atem X automatically increases air cleaning performance when pollution levels rise and reduces power when the air is clean.

  • Page 10: Filter Replacement

    Filter replacement Atem X will let you know, in advance, when the filters need to be replaced. A yellow warning symbol on the control panel tells you that the filter set needs to be replaced soon, make sure that you have a replacement filter set.
  • Page 11 Step 2 Rotate Rotate the purifier body clockwise until it reaches the end stop. Rotating the purifier gives you easy access to each of the filters - you do not have to stoop down to change filters. Step 3 Remove the inlet grille Consider that the Impaktor, which is latched on the inside of the inlet grill could have trapped a lot of dust, hair and lint.
  • Page 12 Step 4 Remove the used filter Press the latch towards the filter to unlock and remove the filter. Do not try to clean and/or reuse the filters. Filters may be disposed with household waste. Step 5 Insert the replacement filter Make sure that the filter’s orientation tab is facing towards the front of the purifier.
  • Page 13 Step 6 Remove and clean the Impaktor Pull the center tab. Once removed, the Impaktor can be thoroughly cleaned with a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner fitted with a brush attachment. If required, the Impaktor can be cleaned further by rinsing under running water at a wahbasin and then letting it dry.
