33. Functional Restrictions

33.1. Audio Upload Tool

When Proxy Server is set, Audio Upload Tool may be unable to connect to the target camera.
Please disable the Proxy Server if this problem occurs.

33.2. Camera tampering detection alarm (SNC-CH135 does not support)

When no motion detection setting is configured, please configure the motion detection area
to the whole screen, or the performance of camera tampering detection will drop in some
cases.

33.3. VMF function (SNC-CH135 does not support)

The object might be unable to be detected correctly according to configuration.
Please use this function after confirming the object is correctly detected in actual
environment.

33.4. SSL

When the SSL communication is established under the Windows Vista or 7, you may be not
able to open the Active X Viewer or motion detection menu in some cases. Please carry out
the following operations:
1. Select [(T)ools] and then click [Internet (O)ptions]
2. Go to [Security] tab
3. Click [Trusted sites] and then press [Sites] button
4. In [Add this website to the zone], enter the camera's address
as follows:
https://<camera's address>
5. Press [OK];

33.5. Image cropping

The maximum size of image cropping for SNC-CH240, DH240, DH240T, CH280 and DH280
is 1280 x 1024.

33.6. RTSP Streaming

Because the RTSP has restriction on the performance, the following settings are
recommended on the RTSP Streaming,
Case I: when H.264 or MPEG4 is selected in codec tab.

Video output is OFF.

The number of simultaneous communication sessions (HTTP or RTP): 2.

Total connected bit rate is 4Mbps or below.
Case II: when JPEG is selected in codec tab.

The number of simultaneous communication sessions (HTTP or RTP) : 1;

Frame rate: 10fps or less

Image quality: Level 4 or below
