  • Page 5 2) Using the main unit without the remote Figure 2 – Top view of the unit Start by plugging the main unit into an electrical outlet. The unit will emit a single beep and the power button will turn red. This means that the unit is plugged in and on stand-by.
  • Page 6 Automatic mode When in automatic mode, the main unit automatically adjust its speed depending on the indoor particle pollution (PM2.5) level. Note that the unit will not automatically turn on or off. However, this can be programmed using the Tuya Smart app, see section II.4. With the main unit on, press the button to turn the automatic mode on/off.

  • Page 8 Pollution level: This corresponds to the PM2.5 fine particle level, measured in μg/m3. PM stands for “Particulate Matter” and corresponds to fine particle pollution, a mix of solid particles and liquid droplets present in the air. Some particles are large enough to be visible with the naked eye, such as dust or smoke.
  • Page 9 3) Using the main unit with the remote Before first use, open the battery compartment at the back of the remote control and remove the round plastic film on the battery. Once done, the remote will be operational. To control the air purifier, please point the remote towards the display screen of the unit.
  • Page 10 Tuya Smart app. You can either create an account or select the “Try Now” option. Use the “Scan” function to scan the QR code of the ORIGIN 40 which is located on the label on the back of the device as well as below.

    It measures the volume of air cleaned in a given time. At over 420m3/h, the ORIGIN 40 is one of the best on the market. It can clean the air in a space of 40 m2 in just a few minutes.
  • Page 15 2) Filtration technologies AIRVIA Medical air purifiers combine 8 different filtration technologies to filter all toxic particles without rejecting any ozone. The filtration process consists of a multi-layer filter with 6 different technologies, a UV lamp, and an ionizer. You will find the description of each of these functions below.

Refer to the Technical Characteristics table for more information.
