    RDS features RDS (Radio Data System) RDS is a service used by radio stations to transmit data outside normal radio broadcast signals. When an RDS station is received, you can immediately find out what kind of data is being transmitted by looking at the program service name, which appears in the display after the frequency.

    NOTE You can enter up to 10 characters for each name. Press either the NAME.S button on the main unit or the OK button on the remote.
