When using your appliance for the first time
Unpack your appliance, keeping the warrantee card which is in the packaging. Read the
instruction booklet carefully.
Remove the anti-odour Maxi filter from its cover and fit it into place. Open the lid by pressing the
lid release button.
Remove the basket by lifting the handle.
Remove the fryer body by lifting it upwards.
Wash the removable tank and the basket with hot water and washing-up liquid, rinse and dry
thoroughly.
Replace the fryer body in position.

USING YOUR FRYER

• Introducing the oil or fat
If you are using oil, pour sufficient oil into the fryer body so that the level is between the "min"
and "max" marks indicated on the inside of the body, i.e. 2.5 liters of oil.
If you are using solid fat take 2 kg of fat (4 x 500g blocks), cut into small pieces. Remove the
basket and place the fat into the fryer body.
- Never try to melt solid fat in the basket.
- Close the lid by pressing until it clicks shut.
- Melt the fat by turning the temperature control switch (G) to 160 °C.
When the fat has melted, replace the handle/basket into the fryer body by pressing the handle
release button (C1). You can now start to use your fryer.
• Frying
- Turn the temperature control switch (G) to the chosen temperature. The Indicator light (F)
will come on. When the oil or fat has reached the required temperature the light will go out.
- Raise the basket using the handle.
- Open the lid.
- Place the food in the basket and close the lid.
- Slowly lower the basket into the fat by pressing the release button (C1).
• Use the Digital Timer switch
- Preheat the oil first, when the setting temperature reached and the indicator light (F)
goes off, then you can use the Electronic Timer to set the cooking time.
- Press the timer button, the display "00" will light up.
- Continue pressing until the required time is reached (see Cooking Table № 1).
- When the button is released the timer will begin counting down (the display will flash).
- If you make a mistake, return the display to "00" by keeping the button pressed and then
starts again.
When the cooking time has elapsed, you will hear a signal. To stop the signal, press the timer button.
Caution: The timer signals the end of the cooking time and switch off the fryer automatically.
- At the end of the cooking time, raise the basket and allow the food to drain.
- Do not forget to switch off the fryer by turning the temperature control switch (G) to the Off position.
- Open the lid and serve.
