The following UL requirements must be met during installation of the OCU 45
DC version:
1.
The unit must be connected to a reliably grounded -48 VDC source which
is electrically isolated from the AC source.
2.
The branch circuit overcurrent protection should be a fuse or circuit
breaker rated -48V, 15A.
3.
The unit should be installed in accordance with the requirements of
NEC NFPA 70.
4.
A readily-accessible disconnect device that is suitably approved and rated
should be incorporated in the fixed wiring.
