maintains the memory, clock and configuration for approximately five years. Do not attempt to replace the

Communications

The Genesis Touch System provides two options for communicating with LifeStream:
Cellular Network (3G and 4G)

Wireless Internet (Wi-Fi)

Cellular Network
The Genesis Touch comes with a cellular network already enabled and ready to be used. The cellular
network works in the same way as it does for a cellular phone utilizing 3G and 4G network speeds.
Wireless Internet (Wi‐Fi)
The Genesis Touch allows you the option to connect to a Wi-Fi network for communications. A Wi-Fi
network is a wireless internet access point in a home, business, or public area that allows the transmission
of data over the internet. The Genesis Touch is designed to connect to any available Wi-Fi network within
range and can use this access point to transmit vital sign data to LifeStream without using a cellular
network.
The patient's Wi-Fi password is required to connect to a wireless network in their home. It is the patient's
responsibility to provide their network's password to enable access. If their network is not password
protected, no password is needed to connect.
