3.2 Service Schedule

Perform maintenance on each item in the service schedule at the designated intervals for the life of the generator set.
Perform Service at Intervals Indicated (X)
Fuel System
Check the fuel level and fill as necessary (LP)
Check the solenoid valve operation *
Check the fuel lines and replace as necessary *
Lubrication System
Check the crankcase oil level and add oil as necessary
Replace the oil in the crankcase
Replace the lube oil filter element
Cooling System
Check the coolant level and fill as necessary
Inspect the radiator and hoses
Check the belt tension and condition *
Check the coolant protection and tighten hose clamps *
Flush the cooling system *
Ignition System
Clean and regap the spark plugs
Replace the spark plugs
Intake/Exhaust System
Inspect the exhaust system components *
Check the installation and operation of CO detectors
Check the exhaust gas condition during operation
Inspect and clean the air cleaner element
Replace the air cleaner element
Inspect the complete exhaust system ]
Electrical System
Keep the battery charged and in good condition w
Check and tighten electrical connections
Clean the battery cables as required *
Engine and Mounting
Check for fuel, coolant, and oil leakage *[
Retighten all nuts and bolts as required
Check tightness of mounting bolts/vibromounts
Remote Control System
Check the remote control operation
Generator
Test run the generator set
Blow dust out of the generator *
Clean collector ring and inspect brushes *
