2. Connecting t he P ower S upply
Nine P CI-e c onnectors a re l ocated a t t he t op o f t he L 3+ server f or c onnecting t he P SU a s f ollows:

Eight P CI-­‐e c onnectors f or t he h ash b oards. E ach h ash b oard h as a s et o f t wo P CI-­‐e c onnectors.

One P CI-­‐e c onnector l ocated o n t he c ontroller.
Each h ashboard m ust b e p owered b y t he s ame P SU o n b oth c onnectors t o p revent
possible d amage a nd i nstability.
To c onnect t he p ower s upply:
1. Connect P SU p ower c able c onnectors t o e ach o f t he e ight P CI-e c onnectors o n t he t op o f t he L 3+ server,
ensuring t hat e ach h ash b oard i s p owered b y t he s ame P SU.
2. Connect a P SU p ower c able c onnector t o t he L 3+ s erver PCI-e c onnector o n t he c ontroller.

Connect t he n etwork c able t o t he E TH p ort.
4. To p ower u p y our L 3+ server, c onnect t he P SUs t o t he p ower w all o utlet.
If y ou a re u sing m ore t han o ne P SU,power u p t he P SU c onnected t o t he c ontroller A FTER y ou h ave
powered u p t he o ther P SU(s).
