c) Manually setting the time
• Push and hold the MODE/SET (10) button for approx. 3 seconds. The indicator
RCC ON/OF for the automatic radio signal scan starts to flash.
The clock will return to display mode if no button is pushed in 15 seconds
while in setting mode.
• Activate or deactivate the automatic radio signal scan with the buttons ▲ (8) or
▼ (9).
- ON: activated
- OFF (indicator: OF): deactivated
• Confirm by pressing the MODE/SET button. The next value starts flashing.
• Follow the above steps to make settings in the following order: Automatic radio
signal scan > Time zone > Hours > Minutes > Year > Date display format > Month >
Day > Language > Temperature unit.
Press and hold the button ▲ or ▼ to fast-forward.
• Confirm with the MODE/SET button to save the settings and exit the setting mode.
Information on time zone setting
If there is no radio signal reception, leave the setting at 00. If there is radio
signal reception but your local time differs from the automatically set time,
you can set the appropriate time difference (-12 to +12 hours). This time
difference will be considered when displaying the clock time.
The weekday can be displayed in the following languages:

d) Setting the alarm time
• Press the MODE/SET button (10) during normal display mode. The alarm time is
shown on the display.
• While the alarm time is displayed, press and hold the MODE/SET button for
3 seconds.
• Set the alarm time with the buttons ▲ (8) or ▼ (9).
• Confirm by pressing the MODE/SET button.
e) Activating the alarm / snooze function
• Set the alarm time as described above.
• Press the AL ON/OFF (7) button to activate the alarm. The indicator
the display.
• Use the switch ALARM MODE (4) to select which days the alarm is active. The
following options are available:
MON - FRI
Monday to Friday
MON - SAT
Monday to Saturday
MON - SUN Monday to Sunday
• When the alarm sounds, you can turn off the alarm using one of the following
methods:
- Press the SNOOZE button (2) to activate the snooze function. The alarm will sound
again after 4 minutes.
- Push any button to turn off the signal.
- The alarm turns off automatically after 2 minutes.
• Press the AL ON/OFF button to deactivate the alarm. The indicator
from the display.
The snooze function can be repeated up to 8 times. The indicator
while the snooze function is active.
f) Second hand
In normal display mode, briefly press the button ▼ (9) to show/hide the second hand.
g) Date display format
In normal display mode, briefly press the button ▲ (8) to change the date display
format.
h) Thermometer
If the temperature is outside the measurement range, the indicator LL.L (below the
minimum temperature) or HH.H (above the maximum temperature) appears.
i) Reset
Press the RESET button (1) using a pointed object to restore the factory settings.

Maintenance and cleaning

• The product is maintenance-free except for potential battery replacement and
occasional cleaning.
• Do not use any abrasive or chemical cleaners.
• Never submerge the product in water to clean it.
• To prevent scratch marks, do not apply too much force on the surface during
cleaning.
• Use a dry, clean, soft and lint-free cloth to clean the housing. To remove tougher
stains, slightly dampen the cloth with lukewarm water. You may use a little soap or
a mild cleaning agent.

Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the
relevant statutory regulations.
Remove any inserted (rechargeable) batteries and dispose of them
separately from the product.
b) (Rechargeable) batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/
rechargeable batteries. Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated (rechargeable) batteries are labelled with this symbol to
indicate that disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations
for the heavy metals involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead
(name on (rechargeable) batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used (rechargeable) batteries can be returned to collection points in your
municipality, our stores or wherever (rechargeable) batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the
environment.
