- Page 3 ATTACH TOP SHELF TO LEGS STEP 1: Place top wood shelf with metal support “H” upside down on a smooth, level surface. NOTE: The Top shelf is the larger of the two shelves. STEP 2: Place one x-leg inside of top frame as shown.
