de (pos. 13) to be able to move it.
Place the guide on the side of the workpiece.
Adjust the cutting distance by sliding the trim-
mer to the desired cutting position.
Secure the setting with the locking screw for
the parallel guide (pos. 13).
5.5 Assembly of guide sleeve (fig. 5-6/ pos.
10)
With the guide sleeve (pos. 10), you can easily
follow the contour of a template while cutting it
out.
Installing the guide sleeve
Loosen the four screws on the underside of
the guard and remove the lower plate.
Insert the guide sleeve (pos. 10) into the cut-
out in the upper plate of the guard.
Place the lower plate back on the upper plate

plates.
Fix the four screws to the base of the guard.

6. Operation

6.1 Setting the cutting depth (Fig. 7)

6.3 Routing

Let the machine reach full speed. Only then
lower the router to its working height.
Router direction: The router rotates clockwise.
Router must always be carried out against the di-
rection of rotation to avoid accidents (Fig. 8).
Feed: It is very important to machine the workpi-
ece at the correct feed rate. We recommend that
you carry out a few test routings with a waste pie-
ce of the same type before machining the actual
workpiece. In this way it is very easy to find the
best working speed.
Feed rate too low: The cutter could heat up too
much. If flammable material, such as wood, is
being machined, the workpiece could ignite.
Feed rate too high: The cutter could be
damaged.
Routing quality: Raw and uneven.
Allow the cutter to run out completely before re-
moving the workpiece or before putting down the
router.
Warning: Depending on the material, proceed in
several steps for larger routing depths. Hold the
router in both hands during all milling operations.

7. Replacing the power cable

If the power cable for this equipment is damaged,
it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
after-sales service or similarly trained personnel
to avoid danger.
