Adapt your working style to suit the appliance.
Do not overload the appliance.
Have the appliance serviced whenever ne-
cessary.
Switch the appliance off when it is not in use.
Wear protective gloves.
Residual risks
Even if you use this electric power tool in
accordance with instructions, certain resi-
dual risks cannot be rules out. The following
hazards may arise in connection with the
equipment's construction and layout:
1. Lung damage if no suitable protective dust
mask is used.
2. Damage to hearing if no suitable ear protec-
tion is used.
3. Health damage caused by hand-arm vib-
rations if the equipment is used over a pro-
longed period or is not properly guided and
maintained.

5. Before starting the equipment

Before you connect the equipment to the mains
supply make sure that the data on the rating plate
are identical to the mains data.
Always pull the power plug before making
adjustments to the equipment.
All covers and safety devices have to be properly
fitted before the machine is switched on.
Warning! Make sure that the machine is switched
off, disconnected from the power supply and
totally standing still before performing any of the
following operations.
5.1 Assembly of trimmer guide base (fig. 1/
pos. 5)
Removing the trimmer guide base
Loosen the locking knob (pos. 7) of the
trimmer guide base by turning it counter-
clockwise.
Slide the trimmer guide base (pos. 5) out of
the housing.
Attaching the trimmer guide base
Slide the trimmer guide base (pos. 5) onto the
casing.
Secure the base with the locking knob (pos.
7).

5.2 Installing the milling tool (Fig. 2)
Note: Adjust the trimmer guide to the upper posi-
tion (0 cm) or remove it completely to access the
collet.
Removing the milling tool
Place the small open-end spanner (pos. 11)
on the spindle and the large open-end span-
ner (pos. 11) on the clamping nut (pos. 2).
Loosen and remove the clamping nut (pos.
2) by turning it anticlockwise with the large
open-ended spanner (pos. 11).
Remove the milling tool from the spindle.

Installing the milling tool
Insert the milling cutter into the spindle (pos.
17).
Screw the clamping nut (pos. 2) hand-tight
over the spindle. (pos. 17)
Place the small open-end spanner (pos. 11)
on the spindle and the large open-end span-
ner (pos. 11) on the clamping nut (pos. 12).
Tighten the clamping nut (pos. 12) with the
large open-end spanner (pos. 11).
5.3 Assembly of trimmer guide (fig. 3/pos. 9)
The trimmer guide (pos. 9) enables you to cut an
exact amount of material from the edge of the
workpiece.
Installing the trimmer guide
Loosen the locking screw (pos 4) and insert
the trimmer guide (pos. 9).
Adjust the height of the cutting guide directly
under the cutter when it is fully lowered.
Secure the position by tightening the locking
screw (pos. 4).
Adjusting the trimmer guide
Loosen the locking screw for the trimmer
guide (pos. 15) so that the lower plate can be
moved.
Adjust the cutting size by turning the trimmer
guide adjustment screw (pos. 14). (Clockwise
for a larger blank)
Once the distance is set, secure with the lo-
cking screw for the trimmer guide (pos. 15).
5.4 Installing the parallel guide (Fig. 4/Pos.
12)
The parallel guide(pos. 12) is an effective aid for
straight-line cutting of chamfers or grooves.
Installing the parallel guide
Loosen the locking screw (pos. 4) and insert
the parallel guide (pos. 12).
Push the parallel guide (pos. 12) upwards so
