The garden torch with its solar panel-battery power supply provides automatically and without any additional electricity cost the nighttime illumination
of yards, garden ways, car entrances and front doors. By the built-in solar panel, the battery charged during the daytime supplies the LEDs at nighttime.
The built-in battery is not replaceable.
COMPONENTS
• 1. luminaire • 2. holder rod • 3. insertable end element • 4. base for mounting on wall or standing on table
• 5. wall mount bracket • 6. extension element

INSTALLATION

You can turn on and off the appliance with the switch on the luminaire. If you do not use the appliance for a longer period of time (e.g. during the winter
season), turn it off and store it at temperatures above freezing point after carefully cleaning its cover. Insert to ground the tip of it, then apply the holder rod
and the luminaire on it. Do not hit it to ground with a hammer, as it may cause injury and the assembly may become difficult due to the deformed element! Do
the assembly gently, manually; do not use hammer, pliers or other tools that can easily break the elements. The elements must be pressed together until
sopping. Finally, check the assembly and fixing.
To stand it on table, insert the luminaire into the supplied base. For mounting on wall, fix the base element with 3 dowels and screws on the wall. Use dowels
that fit the wall structure and and the size of the screws. Insert the extension element in the base, then slide the holder rod to the bracket, finally place the
luminaire on it.
After that, the lamp operates automatically: the battery charges up during daytime, switches on at the evening twilight, and lighting continuously. The
duration depends on how long and how much light it has been reached by. Its operation – even before the setup – can be checked by covering the entire
upper part. Keep in mind that the torch is designed to operate in the dark. In light environment, it lights dimly or not lights at all.
PLACEMENT
In order to reach the possibly best charge level of the battery – at night provide the voltage for the LED lighting as much as possible –, it is necessary to place
it to a shadowless, sunny place. The longer the direct, glowing sunshine reaches it, the more it will light. This can be up to 8 hours after a sunny day – though
it does not reach full charge at all.
WARNINGS
• Make sure the appliance has not been damaged during transport!
• At a temperature around freezing point, the cooled battery does not provide sufficient voltage for proper operation.
• It is recommended to remove, clean and store in a frost-free place the appliance before winter.
• Clean the cover - especially the solar panel - on a regular basis, taking care not to scratch it with rough detergents.
• Do not push the luminaire firmly during assembly and placement.
• It is forbidden to open, burn or short-circuit the batteries!
