Press TUNER.

When listening to an FM stereo program
The STEREO indicator will light up when an FM stereo s ignal of
sufficient strength is recei_ ved.
When an FM stereo program is noisy or hard to receive
Disengage STEREO/MUTING. The STEREO indicator goes off and
there is no stereo effect, but the reception will be improved. Press
again to restore stereo effect.
