Instructions for GIN paragliders
1. General
The inspection shall check the condition and warranty of the airworthiness of the paraglider.
A failure to observe the inspection periods would render the certification and warranty invalid.
§10a DVLuftGerPV (Luftgerät Prüfverordnung "Flightgear inspection regulation") states:
"The airworthiness inspection of a paraglider according to § 10a has to be carried out
according to the manufacturer's instructions by the owner/user of the paraglider or on
instruction of the owner/user. It is the owner/user's responsibility to carry out a timely
inspection in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Any defects and/or incorrectly
executed inspections must be reported immediately to the manufacturer by the owner/user."
Information in this manual are subject to change. We reserve the right to make changes
without prior notification. Owners/users should check for any possible changes to the
inspection requirements issued by the manufacturer before the inspection.
You must have your paraglider inspected by Gin Gliders or an inspection agent authorized by
Gin Gliders. If you have any questions or doubts regarding the inspection, please contact a
GIN dealer or Gin Gliders directly.
The documentation and the result of the inspection must be clearly identifiable (date and
place / name of the inspector) and be entered near the glider information/certification sticker.
An inspection is only valid if the inspection check sheet is completely filled in and if all
required materials, documents and/or testing equipment are available.
Gin Gliders does not carry any obligation or guarantee for any glider which is not checked by
an inspection agent authorized by Gin Gliders.
