Spearhead HXF FRAME 2302/2802/3302 Tool Start: Choose low engine RPM. Make sure that the surrounding area is secured. Warm start – start the tool. Cold start – never start the tool at maximum speed. Let the tool run without much strain for approximately 15 minutes to heat up the oil.

Spearhead HXF FRAME 2302/2802/3302 1. Approach slowly. Adjust the angle of the vehicle to the HXF frame to line up the pin holes. Place the pins where required to connect the HXF frame to the loader. For all Quadsaw models, blades must be mounted in downward cutting rotation only.

Spearhead HXF FRAME 2302/2802/3302 EXTRA EQUIPMENT – HXF 2802/3302 Hydraulic Angle Adjustment This equipment allows you to adjust the cutting angle from the cabin. Work the machine by using the black switch (2) on the control panel. Once the correct angle is set you can begin to work.
Endangering the environment following a hydraulic oil leak! Only carry out service with machine shut off. The procedure for stopping the machine as described in Spearhead’s manual must be followed. When carrying out maintenance on a lifted machine, secure with suitable support elements.
Any damages or leaks must be rectified immediately; is part of the daily maintenance and is your responsibility, to ensure a long reliable working life. Spearhead’s hydraulic system works at very high pressure. When replacing hoses use only genuine hoses. A burst hose could be very dangerous! When replacing hoses avoid twisting fitting, use two spanners to slacken and tighten.

Also, pressure pulses in a twisted hose tend to fatigue wire and loosen fitting connections. Design so that the machine produces bending rather than torsion.

Spearhead HXF FRAME 2302/2802/3302 STORAGE Before storage always wash the machine carefully. Remove all traces of grass and dirt. Be careful and never use a high pressure cleaner close to the lacquer. Steam cleaning must be done with caution. Remove all traces of detergents to avoid discolouration or damage to the lacquer.

CORRECT LIFTING OF THE HXF FRAME Spearhead recommends that the HXF frame is stored on a suitable pallet when not in use. If it needs to be moved use a pallet lifter or forklift. The 2302 weighs 110 kg, the 2802 weighs 150 kg and the 3302 weighs 200 kg.
