Hard Drive Removal

To remove the hard drive from the HVR:
1.
Ensure the HVR is powered off.
2. Insert the key into the hard drive lock and turn it
counter-clockwise.
3. Turn the two hard drive thumb screws counter-
clockwise until they are loose.
4. Pull the hard drive firmly and straight out.
To reinsert a hard drive:
1.
Push the hard drive firmly all the way into the HVR.
2. Turn the two hard drive thumb screws clockwise
until they are secure.
Do not over-tighten the thumb screws. Use finger
pressure only!
3. Insert the key into the hard drive lock and turn it
clockwise.
Mirror SD Card Removal /
Insertion
The SD card access door is secured by the hard drive and
can only be opened when the hard drive is removed.
Do not force the SD card into the slot upside down or
backwards.
Ensure the SD card's write protection slider is in the
"unlocked" position.
Do not remove the SD card until the HVR is turned off.
1.
Open the SD card slot door from the left edge.
2. Insert an SD card into the SD card slot label-side up,
with the notch to the right, until it clicks in place.
3. To remove the SD card, press the SD card as far as it
will go in the slot, then allow it to "spring" out.
4. Close the SD card slot door.
