Cab Tilting Procedure (207-00-A8340)
1.
Park machine on level ground, lower attachment, and stop engine.
2.
Secure any loose objects in the cab and riser.
3.
Remove the eight cab riser mounting bolts and install them in the
storage nuts near the bolt heads.
4.
Turn on the cab tilt battery disconnect switch located in the bat-
tery box.
5.
Open the left side machine doors and press the cab tilt switch
down button to tilt the cab forward.
6.
Return cab to the upright position by pressing the cab tilt switch
up button.
7.
Turn off the cab tilt battery disconnect switch.
8.
Replace the eight cab riser mount bolts. Torque to 927 ±103 N•m (68 ±76 lb ft)
8.
Caution for high-temperature hydraulic oil (09653-03001)
WARNING - Hot oil hazard.
To prevent hot oil from spurting out:
•
Turn engine off.
•
Allow oil to cool.
•
Slowly loosen cap to relieve pressure before removing.
9.
Caution with high-temperature coolant (09668-03001)
WARNING - Hot water hazard.
To prevent hot water from spurting out:
•
Turn engine off.
•
Allow water to cool.
•
Slowly loosen cap to relieve pressure before removing.
10. Caution when handling accumulator (if equipped) (09659-53000)
and gas springs
