Electromagnetic
Interference/Compatibility
During transmissions, L3Harris radios generate RF
energy that can possibly cause interference with other
devices or systems. To avoid such interference, turn off
the radios in areas where signs are posted to do so. DO
NOT operate the transmitter in areas that are sensitive
to electromagnetic radiation such as hospitals, aircraft,
and blasting sites.
2 Minimum safe operating distances for the radio are
based on the Harmonized Standards and SAR
evaluation.
3 This is worst case based on the thinnest body mount
accessory (belt clip).
