2.2 Replacing the batteries
When the batteries inside the instrument are uncharged, they will need to be replaced. The
battery compartment is located at the end of the instrument (Ref. 8 Figure 1). To change the
batteries inside it will be necessary to remove the cover by sliding it down and removing the
batteries from the compartment. Then insert the new batteries of the same type as before,
according to the polarity marked on the cover of the compartment.
Batteries
If the device is not to be used for a period of time of one month or more, remove the
batteries. The batteries may leak liquids that would damage the device.
