The ED-G is an IP video encoder, decoder and public announcement system combo device. It features H.264 real-time video compression for
encoding analog video to IP or decoding IP video to analog, making the ED-G an ideal component of any surveillance solution that requires
both IP and analog streams.

  • Page 2 Option A Step 1: Insert the power adapter’s positive (+) bare wire into the +12V DC port on the ED-G. Insert the negative (-) bare wire into the ground (GND) port of the ED-G using a screwdriver to press on the terminals. Plug the other end of the adapter into an AC power outlet.
  • Page 3 Step 7: Once the installation of the plugin is complete, you will see the web page shown in the screenshot on the next page. Click on the play button to view the video feed.
