Purchasing BlueChart Cards or MapSource BlueChart
Software
You can purchase additional BlueChart cards or MapSource BlueChart software by contacting
Garmin at one of the addresses or phone numbers listed on the
copyright page
of this guide.
Three MapSource BlueChart disks are available: Americas, Atlantic, and Pacific. One disk contains
BlueChart data for the specific coverage area purchased and is a convenient way to reprogram and
®
use your BlueChart card in more than one area. MapSource BlueChart is a Microsoft
®
Windows
-based program which uses Garmin unlock technology, allowing you to use one coverage
area from the disk when initially purchased and to purchase additional coverage areas as the need
arises. (Internet access is recommended for completing the unlock process.) The disk is a cost-
saving alternative to purchasing multiple BlueChart cards. Updates are distributed on new disks,
providing a convenient method of acquiring the most recent chart data.

To remove chart outlines from display in Garmin MapSource, use the on-screen cursor to deselect (remove the check mark from the box) the individual paper charts that you do not want to display. Press the ENTER key to confirm the selection.
