HEALTH AND SAFETY INFORMATION GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR POWER TOOL USE When using any type of power tool there are steps that should be taken to make sure that you, as the user, remain safe. Common sense and a respect for the tool will help reduce the risk of injury. Read the instruction manual fully.
Do not tamper with this product. Repairs and maintenance must be carried out by an authorized service agent. Only use genuine Draper spare parts. Do not modify this product in any way. Wear approved safety goggles (not safety glasses) and latex/nitrile gloves. Before charging a maintenance type battery the electrolyte (battery acid) must be filled to the maximum marked levels.
HEALTH AND SAFETY INFORMATION The battery terminal not connected to the chassis has to be connected first. The other connection is to be made to the chassis, remove from the battery and fuel line. The battery charger is then to be connected to the mains.
Lay the contents out and check them against the parts shown below. If any part is damaged or missing, please contact the Draper Help Line (the telephone number appears on the Title page) and do not attempt to use the product.
OPERATION BEFORE CHARGING YOUR BATTERY We recommend that the battery is disconnected from the vehicle, this will avoid any possible damage to the alternator. Loss of codes for audio and security etc, can be prevented by connecting a memory saving device, or similar.
MAINTENANCE AND TROUBLESHOOTING MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE After use, the machine should be cleaned of any dirt or grease before coiling up the leads and storing in a dry, clean environment, out of the reach of children. TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE Remove the plug from the power supply before carrying out any adjustment, servicing or maintenance.
