4.3.1

PRESENTATION AND CONFIGURATION

The LD4 card allows 4 ISDN type interfaces to be connected.
These interfaces are individually configurable by MMC:

as S0:

as T0: for connection to an ISDN network BRI
For the DECT service, the LD4 card is used to connect 4 2-channel base stations, or 4
4-channel base stations by using ADPCM daughter cards.
The LD4 card is designed for F1 PBXs (except MC 6501-S and MC 6501-R PBXs because
of their limited power supply capacity). It has four interfaces and is used in the following
three configurations:

Variant A allows connection of the PBX to Numéris networks or ISDN terminals. It
also allows connection of four 2-channel DECT radio base stations
♦
Variant B is obtained by adding an ADPCM daughter card. It allows connection of
4-channel DECT radio base stations to two of its interfaces; the other two interfaces
can be connected to the Numéris network, ISDN terminals or to 2-channel DECT
radio base stations
♦
Variant C is obtained by adding two ADPCM daughter cards; it allows connection of
four 4-channel DECT radio base stations
