The extension cord conveying the signal to the antenna has a male TNC connector (7), a
low loss coaxial RG58cu cable (8) and an N male connector (9). The antenna (11) is
secured to the extension cord using an N female connector (10).
The losses generated by this extension cord are summarised in the table below.

The maximum length of the extension lead is approximately 2.8 meters.
This extension lead ensures identical performance of the "Internal antenna" and "External
antenna" configurations when the MA431X02 antenna is used (polarization diversity is not
identical).
The MA431X03 antenna yields a gain of 2 dB more than the "Internal antennas".
To connect an external antenna:
remove cables 2 and 3
remove plate 1
secure cable(s) to the external antenna connectors ANT1 or/and ANT2
When only one external antenna is connected, use (preferably) connector ANT1:
connect the external antennas (BNC connectors)
using the MMCs, declare the antenna selection for the radio base stations
