ASSOCIATING A RADIO BASE STATION WITH A TRUNK GROUP
To declare the radio base station and put it in service, use the MMC XBORFA and select
the "radio station" object.
Note:
When declaring a DECT trunk group in a cell, all radio base stations in the cell
must be disabled. A cell may include no more than eight radio base stations.
CCU (cluster)
Mandatory parameter, with a value between 2 and 39, corresponding to the cluster
supporting the DECT interface card.
Board type
Mandatory parameter used to select the type of card supporting the radio base
station:
Number
Mandatory parameter, with a value between 0 and 7, corresponding to the CLX
card number,
Access
Mandatory parameter used to enter the access number corresponding to the
position of the radio base station on the card:
Trunk Gp
Mandatory parameter, with a value between 0 and 61, corresponding to the trunk
associated with this cell,
Radst (radio base station)
Enter the number of channels (2 or 4) for this radio base station.
The LDS card must be fitted with ADPCM daughter cards in order to support 4-channel
radio base stations.
On declaration of each base station, note its position on the diagram (cluster, card, PBX
channel).
TS Frame assignment
Leave default values.
Frequency assignment
Leave default values.
Anten.choice
You can connect two external antennas to the upper connectors of the base
station. In this case it may be necessary to force antenna selection. In the majority
of the cases, enter "AUTOMATIC".
Type of Radst (type of radio base station)
Select External for a 2-pair operational configuration. Select master or slave
depending on the mode of the base station for other cases.
