PROGRAMMING THE DECT SERVICE FOR PBX OF THE F3 AND F4

RANGES

This subsection outlines the procedure for programming the DECT integrated service
concerning software release 11.4. For earlier releases, see the sections concerned.
If the system is already programmed for CT2, you must delete all CT2 programming
before programming the DECT system (see detailed procedure in the section
concerned).
9.3.1

INTRODUCTION

DECT service programming operations for the F3 and F4 ranges are identical. The PBXs in
these ranges are of the DISK type and have identical operating MMCs.
The main programming steps for the DECT service on PBXs in the F0, F1 and F2 ranges
are as follows:

CREATE INTERNAL ROUTING

DECLARE AND PUT THE TELBOR SERVER IN SERVICE (load 2- and 4- channel radio
base stations)
3.
CREATE CLUSTER ROUTING in all registration sites for mobiles sets
4.
ALLOCATE A COMPANY/DEPARTMENT PROFILE concerning the registration of
mobile sets
5.
PUT DECT CARDS IN SERVICE

Install card
Check
6. DECLARE THE TOPOLOGY
Declare the cells
Declare the DECT parameters
7. DECLARE THE RESOURCES
Associate a cell with a trunk group
Associate a radio base station with a trunk group
8. CHECK THE PROGRAMMING PARAMETERS
9. DECLARE THE USERS
10. REGISTER MOBILE SETS AND PUT THEM IN SERVICE
