PROGRAMMING THE DECT SERVICE FOR COMPACT SYSTEMS, F1
AND F2 PBX
This subsection outlines the DECT service programming procedure applicable to
software release 11.5.
For previous releases, the major differences concern:

Management of 4-channel radio base stations with release 11.5 and later for the F0
range

Management of 4-channel radio base stations with release 11.4 and later for the F1
range
♦
Management of 4-channel radio base stations with release 11.4 and later for the F2
range
♦
Auto loading for 2- and 4-channel radio base stations using a PLL link (S0
interface) with release 11.5 and later for the F0, F1, and F2 ranges

If the system is already programmed for CT2, you must delete all CT2 programming
before programming the DECT system.
9.2.1
INTRODUCTION
DECT service programming operations for the F0, F1 and F2 ranges are identical. The
PBXs in these ranges are of the PROM type and have identical operating MMCs.
The main programming steps for the DECT service on PBXs in the F0, F1 and F2 ranges
are as follows:
1. MANAGEMENT OF TOPOLOGY
Declare cells
Declare DECT parameters
2. MANAGEMENT OF RESOURCES
Name trunk groups
Define a trunk group
3. PUT THE DECT SYSTEM IN SERVICE
Delete S0 user numbers
Put DECT interface cards in service
Put DECT Radio Base Stations in service (downloading)
4. CHECK THE PROGRAMMING PARAMETERS
Radio Base Station Display
Radio Coverage Display
5. REGISTER AND MOBILE SETS AND PUT THEM IN SERVICE
