The manual describes the recommended settings for the use of the Yepzon One.
In skydiving the Yepzon One can be used for tracking your gear during traveling,
when you leave your gear at the DZ and most importantly when you cut away
your main parachute in case of a malfunction.

    INSTALLING THE YEPZON ONE The Yepzon One can be best installed in the main bag of your rig. Your rigger needs to modify your main bag in order to create a pocket where the Yepzon One sits. The figures below show an example of a UPT Vector V3 main bag with a modified Full RDS pocket.

    1.2.1 Connection Interval The Yepzon One is switched on from the moment you charge the battery. The battery life depends on the set connection interval. In the mobile app of the Yepzon you can set 2 kinds of intervals: 1.

    Chapter 1.2.1 at least 2.5 to 3 years. This is when the device is always on. During longer periods of not skydiving you can switch the Yepzon One off or change to a lower interval which means the 100 MB will last even longer.

    LOCATING YOUR GEAR AFTER A CUTAWAY During a skydive day your Yepzon One is Awake. So every 20 min it will give an update. The position is not accurate unless you click on Update Location at the bottom of the screen in the mobile app.
