Turn on [Image auto delete].
Caution
Images are deleted to provide 2 GB of free space on cards of 8 GB or higher
capacity when the free space drops below 1 GB.
On cards with a capacity of less than 8 GB, images are deleted to clear 25% of the
card as free space when the free space drops below 12%.
Older images are deleted first.
Images are tagged as favorites are not deleted.
Images are not deleted when the camera is connected to a smartphone.
[Image auto delete] is automatically turned off when a card becomes full of files
excluded from auto deletion.
Images are kept for at least one day before they may be deleted automatically.
