CONDITIONS FOR USE CAUTION DO NOT USE WITH WATER THAT IS MICROBIOLOGICALLY UNSAFE OR OF UNKNOWN QUALITY WITHOUT ADEQUATE DISINFECTION BEFORE OR AFTER THE SYSTEM THIS DRINKING WATER SYSTEM IS FOR USE ON POTABLE COLD WATER SUPPLIES ONLY Source Water Supply Municipal/Private: Potable Water Supply System Pressure:...
E. Granular Activated Carbon with 1 micron sediment filter (TCR) (P/N QC- WS- TCR) 2. W9CT UF This Wellsys model filters your water through the following filters. A. 10 micron sediment filter (P/N QC- WS- Sediment) B. 5 micron pre-carbon block filter (P/N QC- WS- Pre Carbon) QC- WS- UF C.
Safety Precautions Warning: Do not install or use this drinking water system where the source water is microbiologically unsafe or with water of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. Warning: A pressure regulator, such as a slow flow regulator, must be installed before the systems water inlet if the water pressure (including any possible spikes) could exceed 80 PSI (5.5 bar).

• To prevent electric shock and fire hazards, do not use with other than specified power source. • Changes or modifications not approved by Wellsys will void any product warranty. • Use appropriate plug adapter for your AC wall outlet.

Filter Flushing Procedures for Wellsys “Quick Change™” Filter Configuration All filters and RO membranes must be flushed sufficiently prior to installation. Summary and detailed instructions provided below. Flushing the Purification for the W9 RO (Summary instructions) (Full instructions with images can be found in the following section) Connect the source water line to the “tap water”...

negatively impact the performance of the system. 19. After this step is complete reconnect the tubing to the tank and allow the tank. After following the tank sanitization procedures, allow a tank full of water to fill and then drain. Flushing the UF Carbon Filters for the W9 UF Install the supply water line to the “tap water”...

Wellsys Quick Change filter flushing: Detailed instructions To access the filters please remove the right-side cabinet door by first removing the 2 fastening screws. After removing the side panel, you will see the familiar filter manifold setup including the full size Wellsys Quick Change standard filters.
Page 13
To Flush the TCR filter: 1. The TCR filter must be flushed backwards. 2. Switch water lines, so that the blue drain line is in the input side of the sediment head and the black water supply line is in the out put side of the pre carbon filter head. 3.

a. Failure to do will result in the solenoid not engaging and as a result no water will pass through the filters. 5. Connect a drain line to the output side of the TCR head. This will allow you to flush filters into a bucket, or sink.
FLUSHING THE COMPLETE SYSTEM During the following steps you should be checking for any leaks, loose fittings, hot water, cold water and production rate. See next Section- Final inspection. Sanitize the cold tank It is strongly encouraged that all systems are sanitized using a mixture of Hydrogen Peroxide and water prior to placing in the field.
Page 16
• The cold water is below 50°F. • Confirm acceptable product water flow • W9CT RO systems- Average tank fill for RO systems is 45 minutes. • W9CT UF systems- Average tank fill for filtration systems is 5 minutes. • The system exterior is clean, and all components are in place.

Never lay the system on its side. W9CT System Programming: This system uses dip switches for programming. The W9CT allows for fully adjustable filter alert settings, ability to turn off filter alerts, and adjustable temperature settings. The system comes preset with the following settings highlighted in yellow:...

System Inspection When changing filters or performing service, the following items should be completed. 1. Visual Inspection 2. Hose & fitting inspection 3. Electrical inspection 4. Pressure & flow test 5. Filter monitoring system reset 6. Gallon counter reset to zero. Refer to procedure below. 7.
Page 19
1. Service indicator: The Service indicator may illuminate for 2 reasons. 1.) Water has triggered the leak sensor. 2.) The filter life has reached its limit. NOTE: The filter indicator is optional and must be activated by the dealer using the Dip Switches. We strongly suggest NOT activating the optional Filter Life warning because different usage may create unwanted service calls.
Page 20
Preventive Maintenance: 1. Change filters according to the filter change schedule 2. Reset the filter alert using the instructions above 3. Drain the system and use Hydrogen Peroxide to sanitize the system 4. Check all fittings for signs of scale or wear and replace as needed 5.

(including any possible pressure Spikes) could exceed 70 PSI (5.5 bar) Failure to comply will void warranty. Wellsys accepts no liability for damage caused by excessive water pressure. Do not use this drinking water system where the source water is microbiologically unsafe or with water of unknown quality without adequate disinfecting before or after the system.
