They are lighted using a match.
warning: My cooktop is sealed and cannot be re-
moved to clean the interior since it is unnecessary.
my operation
a) electronic ignition using a button
1. Make sure I'm plugged into a live outlet.
2. Push in the knob and turn it to the desired set-
ting, in some models to the thunderbolt position.
3. Push in the electronic ignition button.
Once lit, release the button so the ignitor stops
sparking. To adjust the flame's size, turn knob to the
desired setting.
important!:
In the event of a power failure, you can light my surface burners using a
match.
b) match ignition.
1. Control knobs must be in the OFF position.
2. Bring a match near the burner, push in and turn the selected burner con-
trol knob, regulate flame to the desired size.

They come in two sizes 3" and 4" diameter.
important! Before lighting my surface burners, make
sure caps are PROPERLY seated in their place (except
porcelain enamel burners). Pins must fit into the
burner's slot in order to assure its place.
