In function 5, the speed of the boiler circuit pump is
controlled subject to the temperature differential be-
tween the actual and set buffer temperature.
The smaller the temperature differential, the lower the
speed of the boiler circuit pump.
This prevents an imbalance between the flow rate for
charging and the flow rate for discharging the heating
water buffer cylinder. A balance between these two
flow rates leads to even temperature stratification in
the heating water buffer cylinder.
Temperature sensor used for function 5:

Alternatively, an additional buffer temperature sen-
sor can be connected to plug S4 of the pump mod-
ule. This will enable, for example, the heat-up con-
dition of the heating water buffer cylinder to be kept
low, so that charging takes place at low burner out-
put. For this purpose, the position of the two buffer
temperature sensors is
middle or bottom of the heating water buffer cylin-
der.
In this case, parameter "2C:1" should be set.
Note
For further setting options for function 5, see parame-
ters "0D", "0E" and "0F".
