Connecting two VAIO computers
You can copy, edit or delete files on another VAIO computer to your desktop with an optional i.LINK™ cable.
®
If the second computer has the Windows
XP operating system, you just need the i.LINK™ cable. If the
®
second computer has a different operating system (e.g., Windows
2000), you need a software application
such as Smart Connect.
You can also print a document on a printer connected to another VAIO computer.
To connect your VAIO desktop to another VAIO computer, proceed as follows:
Insert one end of the i.LINK™ cable into one of the i.LINK™ connectors on the main unit of the VAIO desktop
and connect the other end to the other VAIO computer.
