CHECK AIR FILTER: Before attempting to start your furnace, be sure the furnace air ﬁlter is clean and in place. See “Performing Rou- tine Maintenance” section in this manual. Then proceed as follows: STEPS FOR STARTING YOUR FURNACE 1. Open all warm air registers and make sure that all return-air grills are unobstructed.
