FIREWOOD
• Use dry wood.
• Be careful when using tropical hardwood types which becomes very hot.
• Make sure to spread out the firewood inside the cone, to avoid uneven heat on plate.
• When using to much firewood on one spot, the plate might warp as picture below.
STORAGE SPACE
• Always leave a free space of at least 20 cm below the cone when storing firewood or
other items in the storage space. The plate under the cone becomes very hot during
use and firewood or other items might catch fire.
LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS
Never use petrol or white spirit for ignition, as this can cause heat to spread uncontrollably
due to explosions. Use one of the lighting methods described below instead.
• Start to stack the firewood two by two, see picture below. Place the bark facing the sides
of the cone to further prevent smoke formation. Do not recommend the use of tot large
pieces of wood because they might not burn down properly in the end due to lack of
oxygen in the cone.
