Burning of fi rmware
1. Start the CD burning software and create a new CD Project
(Data disc) with the following settings:
a.
File System:
b.
Format:
c.
Recording format:
2. Place the fi le UPDATE VER and build.img into the root directory of the new CD project.
3. Burn the data onto a blank CDR or CDRW.

How to do Firmware Upgrading for DVP4000MKII ?
•
After burned the fi les to a CD-R or CD-RW,open the DVD tray and load the disc.
•
The DVD will read the disc and Display "Firmware Upgrade" with 2 options "Start" and "Cancel".
•
Using the OK button on the remote control ,click on "Start"
•
The OSD will show "Firmware Upgrade" "Erase and Program" "Do not Power Off".
•
Using the "OK" button on the remote control, click on "Start will Show" "Firmware Upgrade" "Erase and Program" "Do not Power Off"
•
The DVD player will restart and show the "Firmware Upgrade" Menu again.

How to read the present fi rmware version
•
Open the DVD tray
•
Press Display on Remote Control
•
It will show
"DVP4000MKII 0VX.XX /YY I64R R6"
where X is the Version number of the DVD Firmware and Y is the Stroke version of the DVD Player.
