Assembly front side of weld-
ing torch
Am Beispiel Einsetzen der Wolframelektrode:

 Place collet (2) in collet body (3) and screw
these by hand on torch body (1)
 Screw ceramic cup (4) on collet body (3).
 Insert Tungsten electrode (5) from the
rear; make sure electrode has sufficient
length.
WARNING!
Electrode can be sharp.
 Screw back cap (6) onto torch body (1)
from rear.
‰ Maximum length of electrode depends on
the type of back cap.
Collet, collet body and tungsten
electrode must have the same di-
ameter !
The size of the gas nozzle need to
match the size of electrode.

Connection of TIG torch to
power source
Connect carefully and properly all machine
side connections of the TIG welding torch to
the power source.
WARNING! The TIG-power source
must be deactivated!
 Connection of power cable: Place torch
side power connector into the appropriate
socket on the LORCH TIG power source,
and fit by right-turn.
 Connection of the switch cable: Place
torch side connector into corresponding
socket on the power source and use Bay-
onet-lock closure.
 Connection of gas cable: Put torch side
gas nipple into the quick release plug on
he power source and ensure that it is solid
and proper seated.
 Connection of
a-LTW/i-LTW – Torch) Put torch side wa-
ter nipples into the corresponding quick
release plugs on the power and ensure it
is solid and proper seated.
– Blue = forward coolant
– Red = reverse coolant
Before operating torch or after eve-
ry cable assembly change, check
level of coolant in the circulation
unit and ventilate cooling system.
