Step 1: Install the Drivers and the Device Tester

Prior to using the USB-Link™ 2, you have to install the necessary USB-Link™ 2
drivers and the NEXIQ™ Device Tester on your laptop or PC. The USB-Link™ 2
drivers are compatible with both Microsoft
IMPORTANT:

Remember, you must have Administrator security rights and be logged in
as "Admin" to successfully complete the installation process outlined in
this manual.
The following procedure assumes that you have Internet access.

Installing the Drivers

To install the drivers on your laptop or PC:
1 On your laptop or PC, navigate to the following website:
www.nexiq.com/downloads
