PRODUCT-SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES
Before handling, empty all
components which may contain
hot water and perform bleeding
where necessary.
Personal injury caused by burns.
Descale the components in accor-
dance with the instructions provi-
ded on the safety data sheet of the
product used, while aerating the
room, wearing protective clothing,
avoiding mixing different products
and protecting the appliance and
surrounding objects.
Personal injury caused by acidic
substances coming into contact with
skin or eyes, inhaling or swallowing
of harmful chemical agents.
Damages to the appliance or to
adjacent objects due to corrosion
caused by acidic substances.
Avoid intervening on the product in
case of intense sunlight.
Personal injury caused by burns.
Place of installation
The appliance can only be installed
in rooms not subject to frost. If this is
the case, all parts containing water must
be emptied to prevent the system's
components from getting damaged
beyond repair.
Installation instructions
The following is essential for the
warranty to remain valid.
1. Installation must be:
• Carried out by a qualified installer
and in compliance with the current
regulations.
• Include a safety valve, calibrated in
accordance with system requirement
and the information provided (check
technical data table for maximum
vessel operating pressure).
• Include a suitably sized expansion
vessel (check technical data table for
vessel capacity).
2. The temperature of the vessel
contents must always be below the
level specified on the technical data
table.
Operation and Service
Correct operation during use and
regular maintenance will prolong the
service life of primary buffer vessel.
It is recommended that the primary
system water be cleaned and flushed,
prior to a suitable treatment (inhibitor)
being added. Failures attributed to
poor system water treatment and
maintenance, will not be covered under
terms of warranty.
Prior to the initial start-up, we suggest
verifying that the screws of the flange
(where present) are tight.
Maintenance
Inspection and maintenance is
recommended at twelve month
intervals.
The vessel should be isolated from the
electrical supply, before any
maintenance works are completed.
Local isolation valves should be closed,
to prevent disruption to the primary
system water contents.
If the cylinder needs to be drained, the
primary system water treatment levels
must be checked and confirmed, prior
system operation being reinstated.
