Installation You will need: Your Grid Pad 12 communication aid. A safe, clean workspace. To protect the Grid Pad 12 screen from damage, use a soft cloth or towel under your device. Power off your Grid Pad before you begin.

Place the second screen over the two screw holes and use the provided screws to secure it to your Grid Pad.

Step 3 Plug the second screen USB cable into the USB port on the side of your Grid Pad. If you are already using this USB port for another accessory, use the USB Hub provided to give you an extra USB port.

Step 4 Power on your Grid Pad and open Grid 3.

Positioning The second screen is mounted on a friction hinge.

This means you can angle it for the best viewing angle. To tighten the hinge, use the screw driver provided.
Using the screen The second screen on your Grid Pad will display your sentences as you speak from Grid 3. You can change how it acts with settings found within your grid sets. You can also turn the screen on or off from within a grid set.

Symoji Symoji allows you to quickly communicate emotions, ideas or feelings using an animated character.

When a Symoji is selected, it will appear in the Symoji viewer window, and the Second Screen so you and your communication partner can see the animation. You can find Symoji as a standalone grid set or in Super Core, Fast Talker and Text Talker.
