Calibration procedure

This calibration requires that
• the vessel be filled to the upper switch point,
• the vessel be emptied to the lower switch point.
Step Remarks
1 Fill the vessel to the upper switch point.
2 Select Position 1 at hook switch 2.
3 Using Adjuster 1 and hook switch 1, find the operating
range as described in »Range seeking«, see p 28.
4 Depending on the mode chosen, calibrate for minimum or
maximum fail-safe mode - see p 28.
5 Calibrate at the lower switch point

1 Empty the vessel to the lower switch point.
2 Select Position 3 at hook switch 2.
3 Using Adjuster 2 and hook switch 3, find the operating
range as described in »Range seeking«, see p 28.
4 Depending on the mode chosen, calibrate for minimum or
maximum fail-safe mode - see p 28.
5 Select Position 2 at hook switch 2 - the Nivotester 422 is
ready for operation.
- Check that the system functions correctly.
