Adding a Wi-Fi Network Manually
From a Home screen, tap

Tap Wi-Fi to turn Wi-Fi On.

Touch Add Wi-Fi network, then enter the Network SSID (the

name of your Wireless Access Point).
Tap the Security field and select a security option. This

must match the current security setting on your target
WAP.
• Network SSID: Enter the name of the Wi-Fi Wireless Access
Point (WAP).
• Security: Select the type of security used by the WAP.
• Password: If the WAP is secured, enter the password or hex key.
• Proxy settings: If the WAP is secured, enter either None or
Manual.
• IP settings: If the WAP is configured with a DHSP or Static IP
address.
Note: Depending on the Security protocol used by the WAP, additional
network information may be required.

Enter your WAP's password if the WAP is secure.

Setting Up a Wi-Fi Direct Connection
From a Home screen, tap

Tap Wi-Fi Direct.

Tap OK to disconnect from your current network

Sending Contacts via Wi-Fi
This function requires that the device disconnect from its' current
network and establish a direct Wi-Fi connection to another
external device (ex: device, tablet,etc..)
From a Home screen, tap

Tap (Menu) Send namecard via.

Tap a contact in the Contacts list to make the selection.
