[E] Reverse the tool and loosen four screws (1) and remove the undercover (2). Be careful not get your hands dirty as grease is applied in the
shear blade driving area.
[F] Loosen four screws (1) and remove the blades. Remove the washer (3) and sponge (2) from the shear blades and put them aside. They are required for
the later installation.
[G] If the sleeves (2) are still left in the holes of the gear (1), remove the gear (1) and push the sleeves (2) out of it with a screwdriver or the like. The washer (3)
underneath the gear may come off by mistake when removing the gear (1). In this case, return it to the original position as it was installed.
[H] Remove the blade cover (1) from the old shear blades and fit it on the new ones to avoid contact with
blades. [I] Adjust the hole positions by turning the gear as illustrated.
[J, K] Grease - Apply some grease provided with the new shear blades as illustrated.
[L] Put the removed sponge (2) in the same position as the old one. Make sure that the sleeves (3) provided with the new shear blades (1) are put on the
pins of the blade (1). Place the new shear blades on the tool so that the pins fit in the holes of the gear. If the sleeves (2) on the pins come off by mistake,
put them into the holes of the gear beforehand.
[M] Install the blade and lighten the four screws (1) and put the removed washer (2) in the same position as the old one.

• Do not dispose of batteries or cells in a charged condition.
Expired batteries must be recycled/disposed of in accordance with the appropriate regulation or legislation. They should be returned to your local warranty
agent/stockist.

Remedy
Check battery installation
Check battery charging requirements
Connect the battery to the charger
Connect the charger into a working outlet.
Check current at receptacle by plugging in a lamp or other
appliance
Check whether receptacle is connected to a light switch which
turns power off when you turn out the lights
Attempt to charge the battery in a room where the
surrounding air temperature is above 4,5oC or below + 40,5 oC
(ideally below 30 degree Celsius).
